Let us come together to celebrated the victory of good over evil on this auspicious occasion. A very happy Dussehra to everyone.
Festivals begin to fill the atmosphere with immense happiness and celebration. The onset of ‘Navratri’ ropes in people from various Indian subcontinents towards a nine days celebration uniting people of different castes and creeds to come together and pay tribute to the nine avatars of Goddess Durga.
To bring forward and celebrate the triumph of positivity over negativity, the school celebrated the festival with zeal and zest. With lot of enthusiasm and exuberance a special assembly was organised. The nine forms of manifestations of Goddess Durga was exhibited with their special significance. On the ten headed demon, King Ravana the students portrayed the blazing evils of the society like – Illiteracy, Ban plastic use, Deforestation, Parenting the old ones, Save water, Cleanliness, Corruption and Gender bias. The students pledged to eradicate these social evils from the society. The main objective of the assembly was to create awareness about the importance of festivals that make us happy and elated.
The Principal of the school Ms. Shradha Sharma addressed the students and urged to become the pioneer in eradicating the social evils of the society and pledge to burn at least one negativity in and around them with the effigy of Ravan on Dussehra. The program summed up with a positive note that THE TRIUMPH OF VICTORY CAN BE ACHIEVED IF WE KILL THE NEGATIVITY IN OURSELVES.
